My name is Ann Brabston Weed, MS,CCC-SLP. I have provided quality, evidenced-based Speech Therapy to infants, toddlers, school aged children and adults in a variety of settings throughout my career. I have lived in Andalusia, AL since 1991 and worked in the Andalusia City Schools for 13 years as the Speech Language Pathologist.

I earned and have maintained my Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. I have been licensed in the State of Alabama for over 30 years. Annually, I earn Continuing Education Units to stay current in researched-based Speech Therapy.

- Over 20 years providing speech, articulation, voice and fluency therapy and evaluations for Pre-K to High School students / Significant experience with students on the Autism Spectrum and students with Hearing Impairment, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Cerebral Palsy, Cleft Palate, Traumatic Brain Injury and Other Neurological Impairments
- 6 years with the ADRS (Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Service) Children’s Rehabilitation Service (CRS) as the Dothan /Andalusia Speech Language Pathologist coordinating the Augmentative Communication / Assistive Technology (ACT) Clinic and a member of the Feeding Clinic Team.

Parents and caregivers are always a special and necessary part of the team! When possible, I invite my parents and caregivers to stay for the session. I provide home practice materials and resources to enhance carryover of learned skills.
I LOVE ANDALUSIA
I have been a part of the Andalusia Community for the majority of my life! I've watched most of my students grow up to be productive adults. It means so much to me when parents of the students I worked with thank me and catch me up on the successes of their children! My boys, Mark and Daniel Wall, grew up here and participated in the rich sport's environment. Now I am living my dream of owning the FIRST

I have been having the most fun! One of my children that I've been working with for a little over a year just made 100s, high 90s and an 89 on his progress report! When he started, he did not know his alphabet, could not write and was totally unintelligible! Last year was his first year in school! I combine literacy with speech therapy and LOVE to watch that "lightbulb" come on!
